Minimum Required Third Party Hardware and Software

can be installed in many different configurations depending upon your company’s requirements. From installing on a single server to those requiring multiple redundant load-balanced servers, is designed with the utmost in flexibility.

Below are the minimal software and hardware requirements. Since is Web-based, there is NO special software or hardware that CSR’s, underwriters, management, or agents require. All that is needed by these users is a connection to the Internet, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher.

Bond administrators, those responsible for setting up all of the bond configurations, do require a scanner for capturing some forms and Adobe Acrobat Professional Version 5.0 for adding data fields to the various forms.

Software:

(1) Web Server(s): Windows 2003 Server (running IIS and .NET Framework), and ActivePDF Toolkit Professional
(2) SQL Server(s): Windows 2003 Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2003
(3) CSR: Microsoft IE 5.01 or higher, Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher
(4) Administration: Microsoft IE 5.01 or higher, Adobe Acrobat 6.0
(5) Scanner: Flat-bed with operating software compatible with Adobe Acrobat 6.0

Note: It is recommended that the Customer utilize a T-1 data line to support customer or agent activity to the Web site.

Hardware:

(1) Minimum requirements: Dual INTEL Pentium IV or higher (must support multi-threading), 1 GB or higher RAM, 36 GB minimum of Hard disk space, 512K cache or higher. (WEB Server, SQL Server, Application Server).
(2) Scanner: Flat-bed (see scanner sw requirements above). We strongly recommend an HP scanner with a bed large enough to scan legal documents.
